Overview

This site is operated by KVN Studios, LLC. Throughout the site, the terms we, us and our refer to KVN Studios, LLC. We offer this site, including all information, tools and services available from it, conditioned on your acceptance of the terms set out here.

By visiting this site, or buying something from us, you agree to be bound by these terms, including any additional terms and policies referenced in them. If you do not agree to all of them, you may not use this site.

We may update these terms at any time by posting the change on this page. It is your responsibility to check the page from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it.

Eligibility

By agreeing to these terms you represent that you are at least the age of majority where you live, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian.

You may not use our objects for any unlawful purpose, and you may not use this site to transmit any code of a destructive nature.

Objects, editions and availability

Objects are made in small runs. Where a piece is one of one — as with every piece under the XKv mark — once it is sold it is archived and will not be remade.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, to refuse any order, and to discontinue an object at any time. Where an object is described as forthcoming, the date given is our best estimate and not a commitment.

Colour, grain and variation

Our objects are made from vegetable-tanned leather, wool felt, wood and unlacquered brass. These materials vary from hide to hide and board to board, and they change with use. Photographs on this site show representative pieces, not the exact piece you will receive. Variation in colour, grain and marking is a property of the material and is not a fault.

Prices and payment

Prices are in United States dollars and may change without notice. We take reasonable care that prices and descriptions are accurate; where an error occurs we may cancel an affected order and refund you in full.

Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment processor. We do not store your card details.

Shipping and risk

We ship from Pray, Montana. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays once a parcel is with the carrier. Risk in an object passes to you on delivery.

Where an order ships outside the United States, any duties or import taxes are your responsibility.

Returns

If an object is not right, write to us within thirty days of delivery and we will arrange a return for a refund or exchange, provided the object is unused and in its original condition. Return shipping is yours unless the object arrived faulty.

Objects made to a personal specification, and pieces bought at a reduced price, are not returnable.

Repairs

We repair what we make. Write to us with a photograph and we will tell you what can be done and what it will cost. Wear is not a fault and we will not treat it as one.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — photographs, drawings, text, the KVN and XKv marks — belongs to KVN Studios, LLC and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or of an object bought through it. Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, and any dispute arising under them is subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
