KVN Studios, LLC (we, us or our) understands that protecting your personal information matters. This policy sets out what we collect when you interact with us, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
The information we collect
Personal information is information or an opinion about an individual who is identified or reasonably identifiable, whether or not it is true and whether or not it is recorded in a material form.
The types of personal information we may collect about you include:
Identity data, including your name.
Contact data, including your email address, postal address and telephone number.
Order data, including the objects you have bought from us, sizes, colours and any personalisation requested.
Payment data, handled by our payment processor. Card numbers are stored by that processor and we do not have access to them.
Technical and usage data, including your IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, and which pages of this site you visit.
Correspondence data, including the content of emails and messages you send us.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you place an order, sign up for a notification, or write to us. We also collect technical data automatically as you browse this site, and we may receive information from our payment processor, shipping carriers and email provider in the course of fulfilling an order.
Why we collect it
We use your personal information to make and ship what you have ordered, to answer your questions, to tell you when a run is cut if you have asked us to, to keep proper business records, and to improve this site.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the studio: our payment processor, shipping carriers, our email provider and our hosting provider. Each receives only what it needs to do its part, and is bound to use it for that purpose alone.
We may also disclose personal information where we are required to do so by law.
Marketing
If you ask us to write when a run is cut, we will use your email address for that purpose only. Every message includes a link to stop receiving them, and you can also write to us and ask to be removed. We will not add you to a list you did not ask for.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies to keep your bag contents between pages and to understand, in aggregate, which pages people read. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes. We keep marketing preferences until you withdraw them. Technical data is kept in aggregate form.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed secure, and we cannot warrant the security of information you send us.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to legal@kvn.studio and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date below tells you when it last changed.
